Skempton, Howard: Emerson Songs

for soprano and baritone The first two of these four songs are for solo baritone. The third song, ‘Pan’, is written for both soloists, with the melody passing back and forth between the singers. Xenophanes is also written for both soloists singing an octave and a third apart.
